Blended by Sarah was born from a mother’s love and a family’s determination to create something better. When founder Sarah Thomas’s son, Lewis, suffered a haemorrhagic stroke at just three years old, life changed overnight. Left unable to chew or swallow safely, Lewis’s feeding journey became a long road of therapy, surgeries, and, eventually, a permanent feeding tube. Throughout it all, Sarah was determined that Lewis should still enjoy the same food, connection, and mealtimes as his older brother, Cohan. Drawing on her background in food manufacturing, events, and hospitality, Sarah began blending meals at home to nourish Lewis with real food. But she quickly recognised that not all families had the time, tools, or knowledge to do the same. So she created Wholesome Blends, now Blended by Sarah, to make whole food tube feeding easier, accessible, and filled with joy. Today, Sarah, Lewis, and Cohan continue to work together as the heart of the business. From kitchen table to national distribution, Blended by Sarah remains proudly family-led, here to support others on their tube-feeding journey with dignity, choice, and nourishing food made with love.
